Gate 46: Loving The Body

For the next 7 days the Sun is transiting through Gate 41, The Embodiment Gate.

This gate is located in the G ( Identity Center) and it represents love towards your body or the vehicle your soul is using in this life to have the human experience. People who have this gene key defined in their chart are usually the ones loving and respecting their bodies. They also have a fun and positive approach to life In their optimal aligned state.

However, the dark side of this gate could be that the person is ashamed of their body, trying to constantly find flaws, undergoing many cometic alterations, putting too much make-up, dressing too revealing or covering their too much. Moreover, people in their disbalanced state tend to have a pessimistic approach to life.

When you think about it, even the Latins used to say “ Mens Sana in Corpore Sano” , which now translates into ” only a healthy body can sustain a healthy mind“ and vice versa. When you nourish and move your body, eat healthy foods you are less stressed and happier. This is not flash news I know, however it is good to remind ourselves. I see more and more people taking care of their mind and spirit and becoming more aware of their energy and that’s really amazing. Nevertheless, in order to carry that energy and do all things we want to achieve and accomplish and to be able to fully express who we are, it really helps to have a healthy body.

This is a great time to practice gratitude for your body and to discover how can you deepen the love for It. How can you take even better care of it ?

It could be that you start eating healthier or moving more often, or taking pilates or dance classes. You could get a massage or simply start massaging yourself. I recently started massaging my face every evening before going to bed and it helps me connect with myself and cultivate gratitude.

Sometimes, after a long day, I massage my feet with an essential oil while thanking them for taking me places and carrying me everywhere. It is such a wonderful and calming ritual. I learned that our body is a living organism that responds to our attention. It’s the same like every other relationship in our life. If you put some effort to nurture it and appreciate it, it will love you back.

Try and do some sort of exercise and movement over the next few days, commit to a walk in the or a 30 minutes Yoga practice every day. I always say, there is only one outcome from exercising and taking care of your body and that is - feeling better! And when we feel better, we are more positive and better to others around us too.

"A healthy body is a guest-chamber for the soul. A sick body is a prison." - Francis Bacon
