Solar Transit: The Caution Gate 12 A Good Time to Be Impeccable With Our Word

Hello my dear friends, as of yesterday our wonderful Sun is transiting through Gate 12, also known as The Fine Artist Gate, The Caution Gate and The Channel Gate in Quantum Human Design.

Gate 12 belongs to the Throat Centre and the energy of this gate carries the power to transform and change the world through expression and words. Words are a very powerful tool as Don Miguel Ruiz says in his book "The Four Agreements" in which the first agreement is to be impeccable with your word. We should really be careful what we say to others and how and when we do that.

This is a great time to practice patience and to tune into your Strategy and inner Authority. To know when to speak and wait for the right moment to convey something. If you are not articulate, people can get the wrong message and it could mean that the timing to speak is not right. Therefore, consult with your Strategy and Authority and you will know then is a good time to share your opinion. You probably noticed that sometimes words come easy and fluently and sometimes there is a resistance. Tap into that energy and trust yourself to know when is the right time to speak. If you are struggling to find the right words, this is a great time to work on your vocabulary and pronunciation.

As a nonnative English speaker and someone who carries an open Throat Center, my whole life, I've been learning to express myself correctly and use the right words. I often say that my eloquence doesn't match my intelligence and at times I find it very frustrating. Therefore, I am using every opportunity to work on correct pronunciation and my vocabulary in languages I speak. People with an open Throat centre, in their unbalanced expression, can be either very shy or extremely loud, always waiting for their turn to say something. They are in constant search for their tone of voice hugely influenced by the environment they are in. We often slur, shorten words and try to say things as fast as possible and it feels like often we have no control of what comes out of our mouth . However, because we have to work so hard to become good storytellers and speakers this could make us the best rhetorics out there (e.g. Barack Obama). Also people with Open Throat centre can be better at picking up accents and foreign languages as they have mastered imitating others.

To go back to the Gate of Caution, as the name says itself, it is important to be impeccable with our words and honour our intuition and know when it's our turn to speak. Our words influence others and we should become aware of the impact they have. This way we can be in charge of our creative power.
